Privacy Policy
VAL does not collect your data during normal use — all settings, clock bundles, and configurations stay on your device. They are not transmitted to any external servers.
If you choose to import clocks, those files are stored only on your device and are not accessed by the developer.
VAL does not use analytics, tracking, advertising frameworks, or third-party data collection services.
Bug Reports
The one exception is the in-app bug reporter. If you choose to submit a bug report, the following is sent to and stored on the developer's server solely to diagnose and fix the issue:
- Your written description of the problem.
- Anonymous diagnostic data about the app's recent activity (app version, OS version, device model, your clock settings, and recent announcement and audio-engine events, plus app performance and render-timing measurements used to diagnose issues like interface lag). This contains no personal information and is not tied to your identity.
- Any screen recording or file you choose to attach.
- Your email address and name, only if you provide them — used to send you status updates about your report and to address you by name, and only with your consent to follow up with you personally.
Bug reports are used only to improve VAL and are never sold or shared. If you provide an email, you'll be notified when your report is received and when it is resolved.
Permissions
The app will request access to system features such as notifications and alarms in order to provide alarms and time announcements. These permissions are used solely for app functionality and are not used to collect personal information.
If this changes in the future, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
